Wanslea are seeking a passionate and experienced Coordinator to lead a new, collaborative program delivered in partnership with Karlup Aboriginal Corporation and Indigo Junction, focused on providing high-quality, child-focused casework to families experiencing complex challenges.

About you

You are a compassionate, experienced professional with a strong commitment to improving outcomes for families facing complex challenges. With a degree in Human Services and a solid background in working with families and children in crisis, including those involved in child protection you bring a high level of understanding around family dynamics, child development, and the importance of safe, nurturing environments.

You have a proven track record in leading and supporting teams, providing supervision and guidance that empowers staff to deliver trauma-informed, strengths-based, and culturally safe interventions. Your leadership style is collaborative and supportive, and you’re passionate about fostering a positive team culture that values reflective practice, professional development, and continuous improvement.

With your ability to build strong relationships across government and community sectors, you work effectively in partnership with CPFS and other stakeholders to support families, reduce risk, and strengthen protective factors. You are confident in your communication and problem-solving skills, capable of managing complex cases, contributing to service planning, and ensuring high-quality documentation and reporting.

Culturally responsive and inclusive, you have demonstrated experience working with Aboriginal families and families from diverse backgrounds, and you understand the importance of tailoring interventions to meet individual family needs. You may also bring experience in facilitating groups, delivering training, or contributing to research and evaluation, further supporting evidence-informed service delivery.
