OSHC Coordinator | Sherwood Ridge

Whether you're experienced in the Education or childcare sector, or this is the first time you're thinking about working with children, or anything in between, THIS is the role for you! We have an exciting Coordinator opportunity leading our Outside School Hours Care service, Sherwood Ridge OSHClub!

About the role

You will manage a service at a primary school in the hours before and after school for children aged 5-12 years. You'll have the support of a state specific office, plus regional managers who regularly visit and mentor you at your service.

• Develop and facilitate an engaging child-centered program full of exciting experiences such as STEM, sport, cooking, art and craft - whatever you and the children are into!
• Foster healthy relationships with children, the school, community, and parents
• Lead a team of Educators onsite, including roster management
• Manage the day-to-day operations of your service including compliance and administration

This is a permanent fulltime opportunity offering 38 hours per week including 8 non-contact administration hours.

You will work across split shifts to support the service’s operating hours of Monday – Friday, 6:45am – 8:45am (Rise then Shine Program) and 2:30pm – 6:00pm (Stay and Play Program). You can work block shifts during the school holidays too!

• Experience leading a team
• Strong and clear communication
• Team player with a desire to become a service leader
• Hold or willing to obtain a national police check (we'll pay for it!) and a state check for working with children
