We are dedicated to being leaders in integrated healthcare, and we're seeking a passionate Grounds Officer to maintain and enhance the outdoor aesthetic of our properties across the Geelong precincts : Armstrong Creek, Belmont and Wallington.

Hours of work

This is a full-time, ongoing role working Monday to Friday and possible occasional out of hours work.

What you'll be doing

  • Aspects of both major and minor grounds tasks throughout, including pruning of shrubs, hedges, trees, control and spraying of weeds, fertilising and mulching to accepted horticultural industry standards.
  • Garden refurbishment / re-landscaping
  • Identify and report on any trip hazards on pathways and lawn areas. Undertake minor paving repairs.
  • Monitor and report on condition of trees and infrastructure. Report any damaged infrastructure either identified during or because of undertaking grounds works.
  • Maintain irrigation systems
  • Cleaning of gutters
  • Pressure washing of buildings, pathways
  • Undertake routine preventative maintenance and respond to reactive maintenance requirements including minor and common area maintenance in the absence of the Maintenance Officer. Assist the Maintenance Officer if required when a 2-person task is to be undertaken.

  • Relevant qualifications
  • Up-to-date COVID-19 vaccinations (3 doses)

  • Proof of eligibility to work in Australia
  • Current Victorian Drivers Licence
