Communications Change Manager – People & Culture Programs

Are you a communications professional with a passion for employee engagement and driving cultural change? We’re seeking a Communications Change Manager to support a high-impact People and Culture transformation program within a complex and dynamic university environment.

About the Role

Reporting to the Communications Lead , you will play a pivotal role in delivering internal communications that support a major transformation initiative focused on people, culture, and organisational change. You will bring the change journey to life – crafting clear, engaging messages, managing stakeholders, and coordinating communication activities across the university.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support the execution of a comprehensive internal communications strategy for the transformation program
• Draft and edit clear, consistent communications across channels, including intranet articles, emails, FAQs, presentations, and toolkits
• Coordinate internal engagement activities and events aligned to key project milestones
• Manage communications calendars, reporting, and stakeholder briefings
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to gather insights, identify communications needs, and ensure alignment of messaging
• Monitor communications effectiveness and contribute to continuous improvement

About You

You’ll be a strong writer and organiser, with a collaborative mindset and a genuine interest in organisational change. You thrive in environments where people are navigating complexity and know how to craft messages that inform, reassure, and inspire.

We’re Looking For :

• Experience leading or supporting internal communications within a transformation, change, or people and culture program
• Strong writing, editing, and content development skills across a range of channels
• A solid understanding of internal stakeholder engagement
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• High attention to detail and strong organisational skills
• Team player comfortable collaborating with communications and project teams

Bonus Points For :

• Experience in public sector, large corporates, or complex organisations
• Familiarity with change communications principles and tools
