Ready to take your recruitment skills to a role where you can make a real difference? We’re looking for a Talent Acquisition Consultant (Graduate to Mid-Career) to join our Brisbane team. What will you be doing?

You’ll own the end-to-end recruitment process to support our award-winning graduate and intern recruitment programmes along with BAU roles, building strong partnerships with hiring managers and candidates. Leading sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding efforts, you’ll provide valuable market insights to support strategic hiring decisions.

Your contribution will help deliver quality hires efficiently, supporting the business through growth and change. You’ll work closely with internal teams to ensure a smooth and engaging recruitment experience.

Key responsibilities:

• Partner with the Graduate Recruitment Lead and team to execute Aurecon’s Graduate and Intern Campaign, attracting diverse, high-quality talent.
• Build relationships with universities, student groups, and career services to enhance our presence and create talent pipelines
• Manage and coordinate a high volume of early careers events, assessment centres, and key recruitment activities
• Proactively identify and engage high-calibre candidates using innovative sourcing methods, with a strong focus on Engineering & Advisory Recruitment
• Collaborate closely with hiring managers to anticipate talent needs and shape recruitment strategies.
• Provide regular recruitment updates to leadership teams, sharing progress, insights, challenges, and recommendations that support workforce planning and decision-making.
• Build and nurture lasting relationships with candidates and stakeholders to develop a strong talent pipeline.
• Champion diversity and inclusion throughout the recruitment process.
• Leverage recruitment technologies to optimise candidate tracking and improve workflow efficiency.

What we’re looking for:

• Experience in a recruitment role, ideally with exposure to early careers or high-volume hiring.
• Exceptional relationship-building skills with the confidence to influence and consult across all business levels.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to engage with candidates, universities, and internal teams
• Strong multitasking ability, delivering results efficiently under pressure.
• Expertise with recruitment technologies and ATS platforms (Workday experience preferred) to streamline hiring processes.
• Proactive, solution-focused approach.
• Genuine passion for creating outstanding candidate and client experiences that build lasting trust.
• Deep commitment to embedding diversity, equity, and inclusion throughout recruitment.
