LocationRegional NSWWork TypeFull TimeSalary80,000 to 110,000About the companyThe client is a high performing Engineering Consultancy with a great reputation, it has a team of approximately 15 people.The office is situated in Sydney's South Highlands suburbs, it could suit someone living in Bowral, Camden, Picton, Campbelltown, Liverpool or alternatively further south such as Kangaroo Valley, Nowra, Kiama etc.It has a collaborative culture, sharing projects and expertise.About the roleDue to growth we are seeking a Civil Design Engineer or Senior Civil Design Engineer who has worked in a similar Engineering Consultancy role.The role would be slightly different based on the seniority of the candidate but the projects would be similar.For a more junior candidate, training and mentoring would be provided, for a Senior Civil Engineer we would be looking for someone who can run projects more autonomously with little supervision.Projects you will work onRoadsStormwater managementFlood analysis & reportingSubdivisionsEarthworks modellingWater Sensitive Urban DesignCivil inspectionsRetaining & pavementsDams and basinsEssential skillsIdeally a minimum of a year of experience working within Civil Design EngineeringThe client could hire a Civil Design Engineer who would be mentored and trained working closely with a Director or a Senior Civil Design Engineer who can work autonomously on projectsExperience gained designing and managing projectsUndertaking regular coordination and interface with key clients and stakeholdersExperience gained with AutoCAD, Civil 3D and other software packages such as DRAINS etc.Tertiary Qualification in Civil Engineering or similarStrong interpersonal and communication skillsExcellent knowledge of Australian Standards & Council design standardsWhy apply?
