Practice Nurse - Elermore Vale Medical Centre

Full or Part time position available - flexibile with hours

About the role

Day to day will be assisting the medical practitioners in delivering medical services including duties, but not limited to:

Immunisations

ECG’s & Spirometry

Wound Care/Dressings

Assisting with Minor Surgical Procedures

Implementation and Practice of Infection Control

Patient Education

Maintaining recall and reminder system

Chronic Disease Management / Health Assessments

Cold Chain Management

Essential

Current AHPRA unrestricted registration

Current CPR Certificate

Working with Children’s Check and willing to obtain Police Check

Personal Attributes

High attention to detail

Good organisational and time management skills

Team Player

Caring and collaborative approach to patient care

Ability to work autonomously

Desirable

General Practice experience, but not essential as onsite training can be provided

Knowledge of Best Practice software is an advantage but not necessary.

Remuneration

Hourly Rate, as per AMA Award or above award as per General Practice Experience.
