SENIOR BOOKKEEPER & PAYROLL EXPERT– PERMANENT PART TIME
ABOUT THE ROLE
C.E.M. Alliance provide multi-disciplinary services dedicated to the Mining, Resources and Infrastructure industries. As part of our ongoing growth trajectory, we are currently seeking an experienced Bookkeeper to join our team in our Bunbury Head Office.
Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will play a crucial role being primarily responsible for the management of the company accounts to ensure accuracy in data entry and reporting. Approximately 30 hours per week with flexibility to facilitate additional hours when providing leave coverage. Flexible hours will be negotiated for the right candidate.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
Provide comprehensive Bookkeeping services using MYOB accounting softwarePrepare month-end reconciliations and prepare financial reports including Profit & Loss and Balance SheetsPrepare and lodge BAS ReportsComplete general journal entries and work with depreciation and loan schedulesUnderstand and administer cash flow forecastConduct Month End Bank reconciliationsBe able to be across financial requirements of multiple entitiesEnsure effective internal controls, insurances and compliance obligations are metAccurately process payroll for 70+ employees based on timesheets and employment contractsCollect and update employee information to maintain payroll recordsMonitor Accounts Payable & ReceivableAssist with other accounts and payroll functions when required (e.g. leave coverage)ESSENTIAL CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS
Qualification in Bookkeeping with a minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar roleAdvanced level of expertise working with MYOB Accounting systemExperience with tax filings and payrollAbility to work with multiple company filesAdvanced Excel SkillsFirst rate analytical skills, attention to detail and creative problem-solving skillsPossess knowledge and experience with payroll and SGC requirementsMust have Permanent Residency or Australian CitizenshipDESIRABLE SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
