About O&G – Job Summary
Monash Women's is seeking to appoint sessional Consultant Obstetrician and Gynaecologists in Dandenong hospital. The sessions cover 2 regular vacant pregnancy or gynaecology clinics on a 4 weekly rotational basis, as well as evening birth unit onsite sessions on weekdays. These are long term sessions.
Additional to this, there are also opportunities to cover for maternity leave for 9 months from early June 2025 to early March 2026. This limited duration cover includes out patients service and birth unit service.
Successful applicants will also participate in the after-hours oncall roster, covering for both Obstetrics and Gynaecology, and contribute to the ongoing service improvement of clinical and workforce innovation to ensure Monash Health provides high quality accessible Obstetrics and Gynaecology Services within allocated resources. Apart from the temporary long service leave cover, appointments initially will be for one year, with opportunity for ongoing appointment upon satisfactory appraisal.
What you need :
Registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)
Appropriate health professional tertiary qualifications
Fellowship of the RANZCOG or equivalent
Working with Children's Certificate
Membership with RACS and ASOHNS
