The Company

Our client is a global leading solar solutions provider and a hybrid inverter manufacturer. Products are imported from overseas and then sorted and distributed to sites across Australia through the Melbourne Warehouse Facility.


Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage a team of warehouse personnel to achieve operational objectives.
• Supervise inventory control, receiving, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of forklifts in the warehouse.
• Monitor and optimise warehouse processes to maximise efficiency and minimise errors.
• Implement safety protocols and ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain accurate records of inventory and shipments.
• Collaborate with other departments to meet customer demands and delivery schedules.
• Continuously improve warehouse operations through process enhancements.
• Handle administrative tasks, such as scheduling and reporting.

Requirements:

• Forklift certification is mandatory.
• Proven experience as a Warehouse Manager or similar role.
• Strong leadership and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent problem-solving abilities.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems and processes.
• Attention to detail and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Effective communication and organisational skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
• Strong computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office.
• Relevant certifications or qualifications in logistics or supply chain management are beneficial
