Civil Engineer

This position will provide an excellent opportunity to join an established boutique consultancy and gain project experience with Tier 1 clients, ranging from complex high-rise structures to smaller projects across a wide range of sectors.

Job Description

THE ROLE

• Lead high-profile projects across Sydney from concept to completion
• Apply and develop your technical skills to creatively tackle complex engineering problems, delivering high-quality and detailed designs.
• Representing XK, you will manage and develop valuable relationships with project partners, including architects, consultants, project managers and builders.

As a Civil Engineer, you have a demonstrated experience in the following:

• Coordinating with internal / external project team and contributing to meetings and workshops.
• Managing communication and deliverables with clients, consultants and Authorities.
• Developing analysis models and preparing calculations with high precision and accuracy.
• Civil design works for urban development including building projects, subdivisions, roads, pavements and public domain areas.
• Hydrologic and hydraulic modelling, water quality modelling, design of minor and major drainage systems, design of OSD systems and WSUD strategy development.
• Proficient in following software, AutoCAD, Civil 3D, DRAINS and MUSIC.
• Experience in Civil Site Design, TUFLOW, CIRCLY and other relevant software.

ABOUT YOU

• A strong work ethic with great energy and passion for civil engineering
• Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of engineering design experience within an engineering consultancy
• High attention to detail and motivation towards furthering your technical skills
• Love to engage with others to build positive and long-lasting relationships
• Ability to work effectively independently and in a team environment
