Our client is a market leader in water technology innovation that utilizes a wide range of advanced technologies to serve customers on a global scale. Working closely with maintenance and production teams, you will drive plant maintenance and installation of new machinery.

This role has a rotating shift pattern.

About the role

As a Maintenance Fitter, you will be responsible for the following :

Carry out preventative and reactive maintenance to ensure minimal downtime

Installation of automated machinery

Collaborate in cross-functional projects to support colleagues with plant modifications or new installations

Identify and suggest improvements to plant and equipment to enhance efficiency, yield and safety

Document all maintenance records in an organized manner

To be successful, you will possess the following :

Trade qualified as a Mechanical Fitter (dual trade highly regarded)

Minimum 5 years experience in an industrial or manufacturing environment

An understanding of PLC's, sensors & communicators within automated machinery

Able to work a rotating shift pattern

Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills

Exposure to robotic systems (desirable not essential)

Experience in computerized maintenance management systems (SAP) (desirable not essential)
