We’re seeking an experienced and commercially minded Senior Manager – Digital Web to play a pivotal leadership role within our Retirement Solutions business in digital delivery domain. This role is responsible for the build, run and continuous improvement of our end-user digital solutions, including member self-service platforms supporting superannuation members across Australia.
You’ll balance operational excellence with strategic delivery — ensuring platforms are stable, secure and efficient today, while driving new client implementations, enhanced functionality and improved digital experiences for tomorrow.
In this role you'll be responsible for :
Strategic Leadership
- Own the day-to-day performance of Retirement Solutions online self-service platforms, aligned to Technology and Digital strategy.
- Continuously optimise platform performance, cost efficiency and delivery velocity while meeting SLAs, security standards and risk obligations.
- Partner with Product Managers, Customer Experience and Operations teams to reduce friction and improve member journeys.
- Apply a commercial lens to backlog prioritisation and roadmap planning in collaboration with Product and Client Partners.
- Lead rapid response and resolution of technical incidents in partnership with Production Support and Technology teams.
Operational management
Oversee and triage work across collaboration and delivery platforms (. Jira, DevOps) to maintain transparency and momentum.Work closely with delivery leaders to plan, track and optimise work across analysts, developers, testers and delivery managers.Partner with Release Management to coordinate delivery roadmaps and release schedules.Proactively manage risks and incidents to minimise impact to clients and members.Provide regular reporting on platform performance, availability and usage.Maintain awareness of competitor and market offerings to inform ongoing improvement.People leadership
Set clear priorities and direction for your team, adapting quickly to changing client or regulatory needs.Coach and develop team members, supporting technical capability uplift and career progression.Lead by example through strong professional standards and continuous learning.Governance & risk
Ensure KPIs are clearly defined, measured and reported.Actively manage delivery risks, dependencies and issues.Own audit requirements and remediation actions within your remit.What You'll Bring :
5+ years’ experience leading digital solution teams in a high-transaction, regulated environment.Strong experience operating within regulatory, risk and business continuity frameworks.Proven ability to engage and influence senior stakeholders across technical and non-technical teams.Deep understanding of Agile delivery principles and best practice.Experience managing both project and operational budgets.Strong commercial acumen with a continuous improvement mindset.Demonstrated success leading, inspiring and developing high-performing teams.Solid vendor and supplier management experience, including SLAs and commercial agreements.A genuine passion for customer-centric digital solutions with a strategic outlook.Some of our Employment Benefits
