Moriah College welcomes suitably qualified and experienced teachers to join our team of casuals in the Primary School.

To be considered for casual teaching positions in our school, you will :

  • Be passionate about inspiring young people to achieve the best version of themselves.
  • Hold a current NESA accreditation to teach in a Primary School environment.
  • Current CPR certification.
  • Have experience in inquiry and / or play-based education and explicit instruction to provide developmentally appropriate, purposeful practice which aligns with intentional teaching.
  • Utilise positive education and wellbeing practices to guide students to strengthen their relationships, enhance resilience, promote mindfulness and wellbeing.
  • Foster student agency and an effective use of spoken language.
  • Maintain a high degree of professionalism.
  • Possess well developed collaboration and interpersonal skills with both students and adults.
  • Understand educational adjustments required to cater for individual student needs for both high potential / high performing learners as well as those with disabilities.
  • Support the Jewish Zionist ethos of the College.
