We are looking for an enthusiastic and knowledgeable Tour Guide to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for wildlife and nature, excellent communication skills, strong organisational skills, punctuality, and time management abilities. They will have the ability to provide engaging and informative tours to our guests.

Overview

  • Lead our day tours independently, providing guests with detailed information about local flora and fauna, local history, nature and the development of the resort.
  • Drive the buggy safely and responsibly.
  • Ensure the safety and enjoyment of all tour participants.
  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the local wildlife and ecosystems.
  • Answer questions and provide educational insights to guests.
  • Assist with the planning and organization of tours.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure all safety protocols are followed.
  • Encourage guest reviews and maintain high ratings on all booking platforms.
  • Setup and packdown of experiences such as beach cabanas, kayak fishing, paddleboards, star gazing equipment and buggies.
  • Take photos and videos of tours and events for social media purposes.

  • Desired Experience, Education & Qualifications

  • Previous experience as a tour guide or in a related field with a passion for wildlife.
  • Strong knowledge of Australian wildlife or willingness to learn.
  • First aid certification.
