We currently have an opportunity for a Model Based Systems Engineer in Adelaide, or

ACT / NSW / VIC

to work on MIWS projects.

What You'll Do

Develop and maintain MBSE models

for the HCF Combat System, ensuring compliance with CoA-managed frameworks.

Collaborate with shipbuilder and combat system integrator

to align contractor MBSE models seamlessly into CoA tools.

Perform configuration management and MBSE activities

using Cameo, CMT-U, Windchill, and DOORS.

Engage stakeholders and industry partners

to enable effective data transfer, model alignment, and support system design / implementation.

Deliver successful outcomes

by meeting key performance indicators, including the development and delivery of the HCF Combat System MBSE model.

What You'll Bring

Project Management Expertise

: Proven experience managing projects end-to-end, from concept through to delivery.

Defence Systems Knowledge

: Technical understanding of naval and combat systems, with MBSE (Cameo) and configuration management (CMT-U) experience.

Organisational Strengths

: Strong time management, planning, and proficiency in Microsoft Office applications to support project execution.

Collaboration & Communication

: Effective interpersonal skills with the ability to work both independently and within teams.

Personal Attributes

: High attention to detail, creative problem-solving, integrity, trustworthiness, and a safety-conscious mindset.

Due to the nature of the work, you are required to currently hold and maintain a minimum

Negative Vetting 1

or higher Security clearance as required by the Commonwealth. In some instances, compliance with

International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR)

requirements may also be an inherent requirement.
