About the Role

We’re looking for a Manager – Cyber Network Security to lead the team responsible for configuring, deploying, and maintaining critical security platforms, including proxy management, web application firewalls, and email security solutions. This role is pivotal within AGL’s Cyber Defence organization and reports directly to the Head of Cyber Defence. You’ll work closely with the SOC, Incident Response, and Data Protection teams, partner with Security Architecture for project delivery, and provide operational insights to diverse stakeholders.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Lead and enhance Network Security operations, including threat management, firewalls, proxies, WAFs, and email security.
• Develop and implement strategies aligned with Cyber Defence objectives, ensuring robust security policies and procedures.
• Drive adoption of new security technologies and proactively strengthen defenses against emerging threats.
• Oversee incident management, troubleshooting, and risk mitigation for security platforms.
• Provide inspirational leadership through team development, performance management, and resource allocation.
• Collaborate with stakeholders and project teams to deliver operational insights and design feedback.
• Champion continuous improvement, innovation, and availability of security platforms and configurations.
