Workplace End User Support Team Leader
We're looking for a proactive and customer-focusedWorkplace End User Support Team Leaderto oversee the daily operations of our Desktop and Audio-Visual support teams.
This is a key leadership role ensuring service excellence, managing escalations, and driving continuous improvement while shaping the future of workplace technology.
Key Responsibilities : Lead, mentor, and support Desktop and AV support teams nationally.
Oversee daily operations, scheduling, and performance management.
Conduct regular performance reviews and development meetings.
Facilitate team meetings and maintain records of team development.
Set and uphold customer service standards across support teams.
Ensure smooth onboarding of new staff with equipment and access.
Manage escalated requests, especially for VIP staff.
Drive continual service improvement initiatives and maintain registers.
Manage and resolve AV support issues and escalations.
Oversee high-profile video conferences and events.
Collaborate on AV strategy and service improvements.
Coordinate with vendors and stakeholders for event support and hardware upgrades.
Manage desktop support issues and escalations.
Monitor dashboards and analytics for quality assurance.
Oversee IT equipment audits, stock forecasting, and secure disposal.
Manage mobility and data fleet, including approvals and usage analysis.
Skills & Attributes : Strong leadership and mentoring abilities.
Excellent customer focus and communication skills.
Highly organized with effective time management.
Ability to work under pressure and deliver results.
Detail-oriented, process-driven, and committed to continuous improvement.
Analytical thinker with strong reporting skills.
Willingness to support after-hours work and assist with IT projects.
Required Qualifications & Experience : Advanced experience in Desktop and Audio-Visual support roles.
Leadership or team management experience.
Advanced skills with Microsoft Office and Visio.
Proficiency with ITSM platforms (e.g., ServiceNow).
Desirable : ITIL Foundation certification.
Experience in legal or professional services environments.
Vendor certifications in relevant technologies.
