Project Manager

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager to lead the development and delivery of major infrastructure projects across the Pilbara region.

Location : Bentley - with occasional regional travel

Start : ASAP start

Hourly rate : $90 - $130 p / h + Super depending on experience

This is a hands-on role, managing complex projects from concept through to completion, ensuring safety, quality, scope, schedule, risk, and budget objectives are achieved. The successful candidate will work closely with internal teams and external contractors, providing critical guidance and problem-solving across all stages of the project lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities :

• Lead the development and definition of major projects, including scope, timelines, estimates, procurement, and investment analysis.
• Prepare and present executive-level submissions and business cases for project approvals.
• Manage all aspects of project delivery, including governance, documentation, budgets, schedules, contracts, and resources.
• Supervise site installation and commissioning, ensuring operational and asset handover meets organisational standards.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, providing critical advice on technical, operational, and strategic challenges.
• Demonstrate visible safety leadership and promote safe work practices throughout all project stages.

Essential Skills & Experience :

• Project Management, technical, or trade qualification (essential); postgraduate qualifications in Project Management, Engineering, or related disciplines (desirable).
• Extensive experience in transmission, generation, or large-scale infrastructure project delivery.
• Proven track record of managing complex projects, including budgets, schedules, risk, and contracts.
• Knowledge of project management methodologies and ability to apply them to complex projects.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience developing executive-level papers.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across teams and manage multiple priorities in a high-workload environment.
• WA Driver's License Class 'C' or 'C-A' essential; willingness to travel regionally as required.
