Job description

Are you a cloud security expert with a passion for safeguarding complex systems in a high-stakes environment? We are seeking a TSPV - Cloud Security Architect to support the secure design, assessment, and accreditation of cloud-based solutions. In this hybrid role, you’ll work closely with architecture, engineering, and security teams to ensure systems meet strict compliance and accreditation standards. Your expertise will help deliver secure, scalable capabilities that protect sensitive information and critical infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Design, document, and assess security controls for cloud environments.
  • Conduct risk and threat assessments, manage risk registers, and ensure ongoing compliance across cloud systems.
  • Engage stakeholders across architecture and engineering functions to ensure secure alignment of cloud solutions.
  • Provide leadership on cloud security matters, from policy advice to operational support and vulnerability management.

Key Criteria :

  • Strong experience applying and interpreting security policies and standards, including ISO 27001 and ITSEC.
  • Proven ability to assess cloud solutions for conformity, conduct risk assessments, and manage cloud security controls.
  • Expertise in architecting secure cloud environments and supporting security accreditation for complex ICT systems.
  • Holds a current Positive Vetting (TSPV) clearance and willing to undergo Organisational Suitability Assessment (OSA).

    • Location : Canberra.

    Contract Duration : 12 months with 2 x 12-month extension options.

    Security Clearance : Due to the nature of this environment, candidates are required to have a TSPV clearance to perform this role.

    This position is open to Australian citizens with a valid security clearance due to role requirements.
