In this role, you'll:
Work as part of the Technical Training and Capabilities team within our Network Services division of NSW TrainLink with a focus on a once in a lifetime project that will deliver new regional rail assets to regional NSW towards the backend of 2024.
Provide professional and consultative services in the design, development and implementation of training courseware for our new Regional Train fleet that will arrive from our Train provider in the next few months along with their training material.
Help create a training package for the customer facing and operational staff for the fleet as well as help design interim and bridging training packages for the testers of the Trains as changes to the train assets are likely to occur after delivery.
Develop all the conversational training materials and utilise authoring tools and your digital experience to create e-learning courses and various assessments.
This is a unique project that will make a real impact and will provide greater efficiency, more reliability and an uplift of the customer experience for regional NSW.

About you
S trong Instructional Design experience achieved in complex business change environments, will ideally accompany your Cert IV in TAE or willingness to obtain this certification.
Skilled in using multiple authoring tools when designing for eLearning/ Blended Learning with the understanding of how people learn from both a trainer and learners’ perspective.
Proactive person who thrives in digital projects that have real purpose and impact as this is a role where you will play a huge part in seeing all of NSW Trains impacted by the training that you design.
This is a Fixed Term Full-Time Award Grade RC6 role for up to 12 months based in Sydney CBD with flexibility through our cutting-edge hybrid working model!
