As a Financial Counsellor, you will help improve the financial literacy of communities in Darwin, Katherine, or Nhulunbuy.

FINANCIAL COUNSELLORS

SCHADS 4-5 $85-97k + Super + Salary packaging
5 weeks annual leave
Positions available in Darwin & Katherine

The role

Delivering financial counselling sessions and emergency relief assistance

Assisting individuals with crisis management and resolving financial difficulties

Conducting comprehensive need assessments and developing tailored financial plans

Providing financial literacy education and promoting good money management practices

Collaborating with internal and external stakeholders to support clients' needs

SENIOR FINANCIAL COUNSELLOR

On offer

SCHADS 6 $106k + Super + Salary packaging

5 weeks annual leave

Based in Nhulunbuy

FIFO option 2 : 2 from Darwin or Cairns with accommodation provided whilst in community

The role

Provide leadership and guidance to Financial Counsellors

Conduct comprehensive assessments and offer short-term case work

Engage in advocacy work and refer clients to relevant services

Maintain accurate records and ensure compliance with program obligations

Requirements

To be eligible for either role you need :

Rights to work in Australia

Diploma in Community Services (Financial Counselling) and professional registration
