About the Role As a Mental Health Clinician, you’ll work within a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality assessments, interventions, and collaborative ongoing mental support. You’ll support consumers using evidence-based, holistic, and strengths-focused approaches.
You’ll collaborate closely with lived-experience peer workers, GPs, carers, and other community services to ensure integrated and culturally safe support.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments using strengths-based practice
- Deliver evidence-informed therapeutic interventions
- Facilitate group programs where required
- Work collaboratively with internal and external supports to ensure integrated care pathways
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and contribute to service improvement
- Promote safe, inclusive, trauma-informed, recovery-focused and culturally responsive practices
About You You’re a compassionate clinician who enjoys working both autonomously and within a multidisciplinary team. You hold registration as a :
- Social Worker , Nurse , or Occupational Therapist (AHPRA or AASW)
You also bring :
- Experience supporting people with complex mental health presentations
- Commitment to person-centred, recovery-orientated practice
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving capabilities
- A commitment to ethical practice, cultural safety, professional development, and continuous improvement
Essential Requirements
- Current registration (AHPRA or AASW)
- NSW Working With Children Check
- National Police Check
- Australian working rights
- Driver’s licence
