Role Overview

Working with Northern NSW Local Health District, you will deliver contemporary comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services within the network hospitals, including inpatient services, outpatient clinics, hospital in the home and consultancy where applicable, to achieve optimal patient outcomes and support a healthy community through quality care.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and participate in quality improvement activities.
• Deliver contemporary comprehensive specialist General Paediatric services for inpatient, outpatient, hospital in the home and consultancy.
• Provide training and education to clinicians across multiple disciplines to achieve quality education and safe clinical practice.
• Work effectively within a multidisciplinary team and provide leadership of a team.
• Respond on site within a reasonable time frame and participate in an on‑call roster.

Tweed Valley Hospital, your primary work location, is a new, major referral hospital at the heart of the Tweed‑Byron region, opened on 14 May 2024. The Northern NSW Local Health District covers a large area in north‑eastern NSW and provides a diverse range of public healthcare across 12 hospitals and multi‑purpose services, 21 community health centres and other facilities.
