Job description

We partner with children, young people, and their communities to deliver personalised, inclusive, and therapeutic care. We empower every young person to be valued, heard, and supported in leading their own life, through the provision of allied health, youth residential care, support coordination, and lifestyle support services.

About the Role

You will lead a team of Youth Workers, ensuring the highest quality of care for young people in a trauma-informed, therapeutic environment. This role is pivotal in supporting young people to thrive, while also fostering a positive and supportive team culture.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership, supervision, and support to Youth Workers
  • Oversee daily operations and ensure compliance with Human Services Quality Standards and Child Protection Regulations
  • Develop and maintain support plans for young people in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Foster a home-like, safe, and nurturing environment
  • Manage rosters and participate in the on-call roster
  • Conduct performance management and staff development
  • Build strong relationships with young people, their families, and external stakeholders
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with all policies and procedures

About You

  • Diploma or higher in Child, Youth & Family Intervention, Community Services, Disability, or related field (essential)
  • Demonstrated leadership experience in the human services sector
  • Strong understanding of Child Protection Act, Disability Services Act, and relevant standards
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organisational skills
  • Ability to work autonomously and as part of a team
  • Current Working with Children Blue Card, NDIS Worker Screening Check, First Aid & CPR, and Full QLD Driver’s Licence (essential)
