What’s the role?

We’re looking for an experienced Principal Tech Lead to join our dynamic team in Sydney and play a key role in one of Australia’s largest transformation programs. This is a Sydney-based hybrid role, requiring 3 days per week in the office. You will set the technical vision, lead solution design, and mentor a team of developers while driving innovation and technical excellence across the organisation.

Key Responsibilities

• Define technical vision and make strategic architectural and technology stack decisions.
• Design and architect scalable, robust, and innovative solutions to meet business needs.
• Lead and mentor a team of developers, providing guidance and resolving technical challenges.
• Oversee project implementation from planning to delivery, including workload estimation and stakeholder updates.
• Act as a technical authority, conducting code reviews and ensuring code quality and maintainability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align technical solutions with business requirements.
• Stay current with emerging technologies and best practices to drive innovation.
