About the Role
The JBS Townsville Plant is currently recruiting an experienced IT Officer to join the team in a full-time capacity. Reporting to the Assistant Plant Manager, the IT Officer will play a crucial role in the successful operation of the plant. To be successful in this role, you must have a strong knowledge of PC’s and Windows Systems and a technical background in computing and / or electronics.
Your key responsibilities will include :
Performing preventative and scheduled maintenance on plant IT assetsInstallation and configuration of new equipment such as computer desktops and industrial printersInstallation and configuration of software across a range of platformsMonitoring, responding and diagnosing all facets of daily IT issues through the plantTroubleshooting and resolving user issues as they occurEscalating issues to the broader IT support team whilst maintaining responsibility for close outDeveloping effective relationships with all relevant internal and external stakeholdersUndertaking various reporting and data trackingAbout You
