About The Role

The Nursing Unit Manager role is responsible for the operational management and leadership of nursing / staff to ensure the provision of high quality patient and family centred care and nursing and or midwifery excellence at unit / ward level.

Ideal Candidate

• Current unencumbered Registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Australia (AHPRA).
• Extensive post registration experience in a relevant clinical area with clinical management experience in a tertiary / district health care facility.
• Demonstrated proficient problem solving skills and experience in Performance Development.
