Lively Eaters is a private Allied Health practice that prides itself on providing quality family-centred therapy for a range of childhood feeding and mealtime disorders.

Our teams works together, striving for the best outcomes for children and their families.Lively Eaters has Centres in Kensington and Littlehampton and also provides services state-wide and nationally via telehealth facilities.Lively Eaters is committed to understanding the 'whole family' dynamic to assess and assist families with children's mealtime challenges.

As such we strive to provide therapeutic services to meet the needs of each family unit, rather than assimilating families into 'set programs'.Purpose of the Role : To support Lively Eaters therapists in providing organised, efficient and goal-directed Feeding Therapy whilst fulfilling the needs of every client.

Please note youwill not beproviding Feeding Therapy directly to clients in this role.Responsibilities include but not limited to : Responsiveness to therapists and clients in a fast-paced clinic where flexibility (with efficiency) is vital, all the while maintaining a calm and positive experience for our valued clients.Support daily planning, set up and pack up of therapy sessions requirements – ensuring therapists have food and resources available for each appointment and rooms cleaned between sessionsPre-cooking / food preparation when requiredEnsure smooth running of the day by managing the kitchen / laundry / cleaning duties between the therapists' appointmentsensuring dishes are washed and therapy rooms are cleared and cleanedManage weekly food shoppingManage food inventory and stock supply and rotation in the kitchen and clinic roomsManage food safety and kitchen hygiene as per our food safety policyMaintain a safe and secure working environment for children and staffManage stock control of all products and resourcesFacilitate cost-effective solutions to therapists' needs and resource requirementsDesign and develop resources as requested by therapistsCollate and print recipes required for therapy sessionsPrepare and print daily client list to facilitate all requirements / resources are available for sessionsProvide basic administrative support, including using Microsoft Word and ExcelAbout you : Team player but with the ability to work autonomously / with minimal supervisionUse of initiative and attention to detailStrong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise / efficient time managementReliable, flexible and hard workingTakes great care in keeping spaces clean and well organisedForward thinking / planningBasic IT skills - comfortable using Word, Excel and email as requiredWillingness to learn and perform a range of tasksCurrent Working with Children Check (WWCC) or willingness to obtain prior to commencementWhat we offer : Part time role - 3 days per week 8 : 30am-5pmFriendly, supportive team environmentAn opportunity to contribute to children's health and well-being from behind the scenesVariety in tasks - perfect for someone who likes a hands-on role with a bit of administrative support.To apply please submit your resume along with a cover letter outlining your experience and why you think you would be a suitable candidate for this role.Applications for the position close on Friday 11th July 2025 however we may begin interviewing suitable candidates during this time and close applications earlier if we find the ideal candidate.
