About the role

Join a passionate team driving the future of sustainable investing as a Research and Engagement Analyst. In this role, you'll play a key part in delivering high-impact research and stakeholder engagement that enhances the performance and visibility of Perpetual Group’s sustainable and impact funds, including those under the Regnan brand. Your work will help deliver real-world outcomes that make a lasting difference.

Key Responsibilities :

Apply Regnan’s proprietary assessment frameworks to analyse ESG, sustainability, and impact factors for securities including stocks and bonds.

Conduct research to support the use of positive and negative screening in investment products.

Support and participate in Regnan’s thematic research program.

Support the Regnan engagement program, through research, coordination of, and preparation for, meetings and reporting on engagement activities with issuers and stakeholders, to internal and external clients.

Work collaboratively with Group boutiques to support their ESG, sustainability and impact goals.

What We’re Looking For :

A bachelor’s degree in a business-related discipline.

Postgraduate qualifications in environment, sustainability, social policy, or a related field are highly regarded.

Around 2 to 3 years of experience with sustainability or ESG-related issues.

Strong research and analytical skills, with a keen eye for detail.

Excellent communication abilities, including advanced writing and presentation skills.

Proven organisational and information management capabilities.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Knowledge of investment markets is preferred.

A collaborative mindset and a passion for driving positive change.
