Turf Maintenance Team Leader

About the role

This is a great opportunity for a seasoned Turf Maintenance Team Leader to join our team based on site in West Hoxton.

Responsibilities

• Perform regular maintenance tasks such as mowing, aerating, and topdressing to uphold the quality and playability of turf surfaces.
• Monitor turf health and proactively address issues such as pests, diseases, and compaction through appropriate cultural and chemical practices.
• Implement sustainable turf management practices, including water conservation strategies, and pest management techniques.
• Operate and maintain specialised turf equipment and machinery to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Collaborate with the landscaping team to coordinate maintenance schedules, prioritise tasks, and deliver exceptional results.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their expectations, address concerns, and provide turf care recommendations.

About You

You have successfully completed a Certificate III in Sports Turf Management and have recent experience in turf management and / or greenkeeping.

You are proud of your knowledge levels when it comes to turfgrass species, growth habits, and maintenance requirements.

You are familiar with turf care equipment and machinery, including mowers, aerators, and sprayers.
