  • team are a high performing and innovation focused team of Maintenance, Reliability and Integrity professionals. We work closely with our clients providing project and operational support across the Mining and Energy Sectors and the many asset types therein.
  • As a

  • Business Improvement Specialist
  • you will support and also drive Business Improvement initiatives identified by the business includes Mining, Processing, Infrastructure and Rail BU. You will work with existing national clients BI projects as well as asset management and maintenance projects and be supported to identify new opportunities and continue our success in generating innovative, fit for purpose and cost-effective solutions for our customers. Within this role, you will :
  • Work directly with customers day-to-day, driving business Improvement Initiatives onsite
  • Support to identify, quantify, prioritise and drive the implementation of Business Improvement initiatives across mine site to consistently deliver sustainable value creation for shareholders
  • Improve and embed Business Improvement capability, systems and processes for results measurement & tracking through identifying and coaching personnel in standard BI tools, and methodologies
  • Identify new / additional opportunities of improvement within assigned work
  • Mentor Junior / Graduate Engineers
  • The Person
  • You will ideally have a background in hydrocarbons, manufacturing or mining environments with a proven capability to deliver to project timelines as well as :

  • A degree in
  • Mechanical
  • Electrical
  • Engineering
  • Minimum 3-5 years' experience in relevant Business Improvement activities
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in relevant mining operations
  • Strong analytical skills
  • The ability to draw insights from data analysis
  • Stakeholder management skills
  • Proven project management skills including demonstrated use of BI methodologies to deliver measurable results
  • Proven leadership experience and an ability to work with diverse stakeholders on challenging projects
  • A strong understanding of Management Operating Systems
  • An ability to build and lead effective teams - even in cases where no structural authority exists
  • Experience in delivering Business Improvement ideally in Mining
  • Ability to use Lean and Six Sigma methodology
  • A willingness to travel and undertake site work as required.
