Our client, AllTruck Bodies Pty Ltd is a leading Australian manufacturer of truck bodies and trailers, proudly servicing a wide range of industry sectors. Based in Dandenong, Victoria, we are currently seeking a skilled and experienced Metal Fabricators to join our growing team.
About the Role
This hands-on role involves fabricating and welding purpose-built rigid truck bodies as part of our body-building production process. You will work closely with our workshop team and report to the Area Supervisor.
Key Responsibilities
- Interpret and work from technical drawings and fabrication specifications
- Perform MIG welding (including 1st class level welding) on steel structures
- Cut, shape, and join metal components using manual tools and machinery
- Conduct welding in both flat and vertical positions
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and flame cutting equipment
- Carry out manual handling tasks as required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment and adhere to OH&S procedures
- Complete tasks with minimal supervision and meet production deadlines
Requirements
