VENUE MANAGER - ZEST SENSORY STUDIO - SPECIALTY COFFEE

The Zest Richmond Sensory Studio is a unique space dedicated to showcasing the flavour, craft, and community of specialty coffee. We're seeking a passionate and capable Venue Manager to run the studio with pride and purpose. This full-time casual role is perfect for someone who thrives in a customer-facing environment, loves brewing (especially filter!), and is excited to represent the Zest brand. You’ll take full ownership of the space — from hosting tastings to keeping the studio spotless — while playing a key part in Zest’s mission to help cafés thrive.

Are you obsessed with all things specialty coffee? Do you geek out over filter brews, love sharing coffee knowledge, and want to be the proud custodian of one of Melbourne’s most flavour-forward coffee venues?

We’re looking for a warm, capable, coffee-obsessed human to take the reins at our Zest Richmond Sensory Studio — someone who lives and breathes specialty coffee, brings energy and excellence to every shift, and takes full ownership of keeping the space buzzing, beautiful, and brewing.

ABOUT THE ROLE

This is not your average café gig. The Sensory Studio is a hub of flavour exploration, customer connection, retail experience, and community. We’re after someone who can :

Run the studio day-to-day with pride and precision
Exhibit great coffee knowledge and a passion to continue learning
Be an accomplished barista, with a special love for filter brewing
Keep the space immaculate (yes, even packing the dishwasher and ordering loo rolls!)
Welcome guests warmly, serve retail customers with enthusiasm, and promote our coffee offering
Host tastings and help facilitate public cuppings and after-hours events
Be a key part of the wider Zest team effort to help cafés thrive
