At The Identity Clinic, we believe your voice should feel like home. We're a queer-run mental health and allied health clinic supporting LGBTQIA+ individuals across the east coast — and we're expanding our affirming care services to include gender-affirming voice training.

We're on the lookout for a Speech Pathologist with experience or a strong passion for working with transgender and gender-diverse clients in their voice journey. Whether it's pitch elevation, resonance, prosody, or simply helping someone feel seen and safe in the process — your work will be life-changing.

What You'll Be Doing

  • Providing individualised gender-affirming voice therapy
  • Supporting clients through voice exploration with warmth and clinical excellence
  • Collaborating with a multidisciplinary, queer-affirming team of psychologists and clinicians
  • Helping shape and grow our gender-affirming allied health offerings
  • Option to contribute to group programs, resource development, and advocacy

You're Our Kind of Person If You :

Identify as part of the LGBTQIA+ community or deeply value working within it

Have experience (or interest) in gender-affirming voice therapy

Hold SPA registration and appropriate degree qualifications

Are confident in trauma-informed, client-led practice

Want to be part of a values-aligned, affirming, and progressive team

Love working in a clinic that values community, softness, justice, and joy What We Offer

  • 95K–$110K + super, based on experience
  • Full admin and intake support — you focus on clients, we handle the rest
  • Fully furnished clinic rooms and telehealth setup
  • Clinical supervision + bi-monthly professional development
  • A team that gets it — all queer, all affirming, all here for the mission
  • Space to grow into leadership, training, or specialisation if desired
