Job Title : IT Support Engineer for MSP

Location : Sydney (West)

Salary : $3-400 per day

Our client is a leading IT Service Provider. Their solutions & services span across the entire uptime, availability, and recovery continuum, and extend to turnkey solutions for large infrastructure projects. As an IT Support Engineer, you will work directly with clients to provide technical support and maintenance for their IT infrastructure.

The role is initially a 3-month contract with the opportunity to secure a permanent position

The ideal candidate will be punctual, professional, and able to clearly communicate with various levels of staff to successfully manage and solve problems at a level 2 & 3 standard in a timely manner.

Responsibilities :

Provide first and second line technical support to clients onsite.

Troubleshoot hardware and software issues on desktops, laptops, servers, and network infrastructure.

Install and configure hardware and software for clients.

Perform regular maintenance and updates on client systems.

Monitor client systems to ensure optimal performance and uptime.

Work with clients to identify and resolve IT-related issues.

Handle any issues that must be escalated.

Maintain accurate records of work carried out for clients.

Requirements :

A degree or equivalent qualification in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field

At least 2 years of experience in a similar role within an MSP or IT support environment.

Strong knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems and associated applications.

Solid understanding of networking concepts and protocols.

Experience with Cisco / HP / Aruba network switches.

Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Good communication skills and ability to work effectively as an individual and in a team.

Full Australian work rights – no student visas

Your own vehicle and a valid NSW driver’s license – and travel will be reimbursed.
