Yard Truck Driver (MC Licence - Afternoon Shift)

Responsibilities

• Safely positioning trailers/vehicles in a timely manner as requested by the Control Room.
• Ensuring the yard area, including entry/exit points, vehicle wash, fuel islands and walkways are managed in order for both vehicles and pedestrians to move freely and safely within the yard area.
• Challenge and report on any non-compliance.
• Drive company tug vehicles in a safe and courteous fashion in accordance with the requirements of the site rules.
• Report any vehicle accidents to the Control Room or Supervisor.
• Report any mechanical defects.
• Take all responsible action to ensure the safety and security of vehicles, equipment and goods.
• Carry out daily vehicle checks following procedure.
• To ensure the safe and efficient movement of vehicles between parking bays and loading bays.

Shift and Schedule

• PM shift 14:00 to 22:00 (Monday to Friday).
• Full-time permanent position.

Requirements

• Multi Combination Licence Required (MC).
