About The Role

• Provide Occupational Therapy service to hospital inpatients.
• Carry out assessment of patient’s functional ability (self‑care, functional mobility, transfers, home management) taking into account physical, cognitive and social factors, and plan appropriate treatment interventions.
• Provide patient education and intervention regarding safety and independence at home, functional precautions and correct use of equipment.
• Document all occupational therapy interventions in the patient’s medical record.
• Maintain accurate patient statistics.
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Team Quality Improvement programmes.
