Mcg Technician

Reporting to the Technology Onboarding Supervisor, the

• MCG Technician
• is responsible for the installation, and ongoing support of the Technology range of systems on Caterpillar and Original Equipment Manufacturer machines.

You will be providing high levels of customer service for both internal and external clients, enabling WesTrac to achieve customer satisfaction goals, overall relationship development and dealership growth. In addition, assisting with calibration and commissioning of technology systems, creating and updating documentation and providing technical and field support to site operations.

• Location & Roster
• This is a full-time permanent opportunity based at our Head Office located in South Guildford initially for a 90-day onboarding period on a 4 : 3 roster. You will then transition into a FIFO 8 : 6 roster after your onboarding period.
• To be successful the following is required
• Trade qualified as a Heavy-Duty Equipment Mechanic / Fitter or Automotive Electrical Technician or Certificate III in Electro Technology
• C Class manual driver's license
• Ability to work successfully within a team
• Ability to read and interpret electronic schematics and Technical Specifications
• Confidence to provide standards-based quality workmanship across hardware, electrical and mechanical works
• Skills to complete technical and administrative documentation to a high standard
• Excellent communication skills
• Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build and maintain successful working relationships
