Our Opportunity

Work Location : Solomon – Fortescue’s Solomon mine is located on the traditional lands of the Eastern Guruma and Yindjibarndi peoples.

Roster : 7D7N14R FIFO ex Perth.

We are seeking a suitably qualified and experienced Mining Supervisor. This role is responsible for all aspects of Load & Haul functions of open pit mining operations with a focus around leading a team of committed people who share a vision of being the safest and most efficient Mining Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead mining operations and team members to ensure safe and productive operations.
• Support team members and maintain a positive culture & environment.
• Champion Fortescue Values.
• Coach and develop team members and take accountability for the skills training matrix.
• Conduct pit inspections and field interactions; complete incident investigations.
• Ensure that Mining achieves or exceeds budget fleet utilisation and safety performance.
