The role :
As an Occupational Therapist, you will deliver high-quality, person-centred therapy services to clients living in remote and very remote regions of the Northern Territory. Working under the NDIS and Aged Care frameworks, you'll focus on enhancing independence, function, and overall wellbeing across the lifespan. This role involves developing and implementing tailored therapy plans, conducting functional assessments, and supporting individuals to achieve their personal goals. You'll work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team to provide evidence-based care and ensure services are coordinated and responsive to client needs.
This is a FIFO role operating on a 2 weeks on / 1 week off roster, with travelto communities in remote and very remote locations. You will manage a diverse caseload, conduct assessments including home safety and equipment prescription, prepare detailed reports, and maintain professional documentation in line with policy. Ongoing supervision, professional development opportunities, and structured onboarding in Darwin or Adelaide will be provided to support you in delivering impactful therapy services.
Essential Criteria
Minimum Bachelor degree in Occupational Therapy or relevant discipline
Full AHPRA registration
Valid NDIS Check
Working with Children Check
