Room Attendant

Shangri-La the Marina, Cairns, is seeking experienced and energetic candidates who are looking to join our team of friendly guest focused individuals, dedicated to providing exceptional service within our Housekeeping department at a 5-star level.

Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns is a luxury five-star hotel located beside Marlin Marina and Trinity Inlet in the heart of Cairns. With 255 guest rooms, 18 function venues and extensive food and beverage facilities, the hotel is part of a leading international company with more than 100 hotels and resorts worldwide.

About the Role

To clean and sanitize all assigned guest rooms and suites in accordance with establish standards and procedures to ensure guest comfort and satisfaction.

• Clean guest rooms, suites and corridors to Shangri-La Standards.
• Ensure all assigned tasks meet Shangri-La standards, including cleaning guest rooms, replenishing supplies, and maintaining cleanliness of trolleys, pantries, and service areas.
• Safely use and care for equipment, follow safety procedures, and ensure efficient use of materials, supplies, and chemicals.
• Report maintenance issues, damaged or missing items, and lost property to the appropriate department; respond promptly to guest complaints or incidents.
• Follow all recycling, energy-saving, and safety procedures; perform additional duties as directed by supervisors or management.

About you

These positions are Permanent Part-Time and will include work on weekends and on public holidays.
