The Role

This role is a member of a hardworking, proactive and committed team who are responsible for safely maintaining the light vehicle fleet and ancillary equipment on site to a high standard.

You will be responsible for :

Contributing to the daily planned and unplanned maintenance priorities and schedule maintenance activities, including major equipment failures, and corrective actions
Reporting the extent & repair status to asset owners (As required)
Collaborate with our Maintenance Planners and Supervisors for ongoing maintenance requirements of vehicles and ancillary equipment
Collecting quotes and material requirements for vehicles and ancillary equipment with external suppliers; and
Sourcing hard to find parts via internet, product information and suppliers

About You

This role would suit an Auto-Technician (LV) looking for a rewarding career in mining. You will also :

Be a team player with the ability to work un-supervised;

Able to effectively communicate to internal and external stakeholders

Have an understanding of workplace HSE procedures and have a positive attitude towards safety

Intermediate computer skills with the ability to learn new applications and systems use in reporting, recording, researching, presentations etc
