Opportunity

As a Mechanical Fitter at Kent, you will play a crucial role in in the assembly and installation of mechanical systems and equipment including : Compressors, Pumps, Piping, Valves, Heat Exchangers and Pressure Equipment. This position requires a high level of technical expertise, precision, and dedication to quality workmanship.

• Details / responsibilities
• Assemble and disassemble mechanical components and machinery following technical drawings, specifications, and blueprints.
• Conduct quality checks and inspections to verify the accuracy and precision of assembled components, making necessary adjustments when needed.
• Be a self-starter and able to work both autonomously and as part of a team.
• Ability to mark out and measure accurately.
• Demonstrate a commitment to workplace safety and the safety of your co-workers.
• Utilize personal protective equipment (PPE) as required.
• Maintain and care for equipment, tools, and machinery, ensuring they are in proper working condition.
• Collaborate with other team members, including engineers, QA / QC inspectors, and construction management team, to achieve project goals and timelines.
• Keep detailed records of work performed : including Flange Management Tags, Test packs and Workpacks.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines while working with potentially hazardous materials and equipment.
