Production Operator

Our client is a large food processing business producing premium quality poultry, meat and seafood along with fruit and vegetable wholesale products across Australia. Its products are supplied daily-fresh and frozen to restaurants, retailers, and institutions throughout Australia. They are looking for a skilled, qualified and experienced Production Operators to work in their processing plant located in South Australia.

As a Production Operator your duties will include;

- Operates machinery and equipment to assist with the assembling, manufacturing, processing, packaging and quality assurance of items along a production line.

-Operating production machinery, including calibrating equipment to monitoring gauges, making adjustments as required

-Set up cleaning and maintenance schedules to prevent problems by keeping machines in good working order

-Inspect finished products, take samples and undertake product quality control

-Prepare products for dispatch.

Skills and Experience:

- Have 1 year of work experience and have at least a relevant AQF Certificate II qualification or equivalent; or 2 years of relevant work experience to substitute the qualification.

You will be paid an annualised salary of between $68,850 - $75,000 p.a.+ superannuation
