Duration : 20-month fixed-term appointment - 31 December 2026

Remuneration : Pro-rata of $140,812 - $162,366 pa Level C (plus 17% employer superannuation)

The Opportunity

We’re currently seeking a Senior Lecturer (Practice) – Psychiatry to join our passionate team in Gippsland. In this role, you’ll play a key part in coordinating and delivering clinical teaching within our Year 4C Psychiatry program as part of Monash University BMedSci / MD program. Your professional expertise will inform curriculum development and strengthen the connection between Monash Rural Health and clinical practice settings. With major academic sites across south-east and north-west Victoria—including Churchill, Mildura, Bendigo, and Gippsland—you’ll be contributing to a statewide mission that’s changing lives.

The School of Rural Health is committed to improved health outcomes in rural communities and the development of a sustainable rural health workforce. With eight clinical teaching sites, our footprint stretches from Mildura in the north-west to Bairnsdale in the south-east.
