Strong project management, stakeholder engagement and events coordination experience required
Temporary, Clerk grade 7 / 8 until 30 June 2026 role based in Martin Place, Sydney CBD.

About the Role

As our new Policy and Projects Officer , you’ll play a key role in delivering Women NSW’s strategic programs and initiatives that improve outcomes for women and girls across the state. Working within the Communities, Justice and National Security branch in the Social Policy and Intergovernmental Relations group, you’ll provide high-quality project management and stakeholder engagement support to ensure initiatives are delivered efficiently on time and within scope.

You’ll add value by coordinating complex projects, developing briefs and reports that inform evidence-based decision-making, and collaborating across government and community partners to progress priorities such as women’s economic participation, safety and leadership. Your contribution will help shape policies and programs that make a meaningful and lasting difference for women across NSW.

We're Looking For

Events coordination : Demonstrated experience delivering or coordinating events and logistics

Project Management : Demonstrated experience delivering or supporting multiple projects simultaneously, including planning, tracking progress and coordinating stakeholders to meet time, quality and budget expectations

Qualifications : Relevant tertiary qualifications and / or equivalent experience in project management, event management or a related discipline will be highly regarded

Policy and Research Skills : Proven ability to gather and analyse evidence and translate complex information into clear, actionable recommendations

Communication : Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to prepare high-quality reports, briefing notes and correspondence, and present information confidently to diverse audiences

Stakeholder Engagement : Demonstrated experience building and maintaining productive relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including government agencies, community organisations and senior leaders

Problem Solving and Initiative : Ability to identify issues, develop practical solutions and take initiative to improve processes, systems or project outcomes
