About the Role

We have an exciting opportunity to join Nellie MelbaRetirement Village, Wheelers Hill as a Personal Care Worker in a casual position, working between Monday and Friday during these hours :

Morning shifts : 0700-1300 / 0700-1500

Afternoon shifts : 1500-2100 / 1500-2200

Night shifts : 2145-0715 / 2200-0700

Successful candidates will be working across all levels(i.e. Low Care, High Care, Special Care, Serviced Apartments).

In this role you will :

  • Develop lasting relationships with our residents and their families
  • Follow our resident's individual care plans, providing care that would be good enough for mum and dad
  • Use the latest technology - including our own purpose-built care app myRyman
  • Work closely with, and support your colleagues creating a great team environment

    • About You

    To thrive in our supportive and caring environment you will have :

  • Certificate III / IV in Ageing Support or Certificate III in Individual Support
  • At least 1 year prior work experience as a Personal Care Worker in an aged care facility (excluding student placement)
  • Kindness in your DNA
  • Strong empathy
  • Outstanding communication skills
  • A reliable, friendly and professional style
