  • to lead, manage and develop a professional edge within the company now and into the future.
  • Supervisor
  • plays a major role in the day to day running of its warehouse operations. You will work collaboratively with colleagues and drive front-line leadership in order to enable the safe, reliable delivery services to our customers. This role will see you champion a safety and leadership culture which promotes, creates and maintains a safe environment for our employees.
  • About the role
  • Lead a team of warehouse crew 6 - 8 crew on a day to day basis
  • Setting and monitoring of performance standards and behavioural standards
  • Contribute to a learning environment spending time on the floor in a hands on approach
  • Safe and sufficient processes of managing and storing received and current inventory
  • Issuing & Shipping companies products
  • Work in collaboration with rostering annual leave and attendance levels
  • Manage performance and disciplinary matters if required
  • Take accountability for incident investigations within the area
  • Meet agreed service levels in the receiving, despatch and coolroom operations.
  • Respond to all notifications of errors and complaints
  • Responsibilities in raising purchase orders and sticking to KPI levels
  • Organise repair and schedule in periodic maintenance for equipment when needed.
  • Set out a correct WHS program for the warehouse and staff you manage
  • About you
  • 3+ years experience in a leadership role ideally in a Warehouse Team environment
  • Ideally a similiar or experience in Pharma or medical device DC operations or related industries.
  • Able to demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and influence employees to make sound safe choices
  • Demonstrated frontline leadership capability including task assignment, problem solving and performance management
  • An ability to demonstrate your effectiveness at engaging team members, establishing and sustaining relationships & setting of clear direction
  • You will be highly organised and be able to prioritise conflicting tasks ensuring the best outcomes for the business
  • Strong verbal and written communication, analytical and organised
  • Hold a valid Drivers licence and passport, unrestricted working rights plus hold a valid forklift licence
