Bulk HC Driver

Role Details :

Join the expanding Visy Logistics Bulk division and partner with key local external customers to deliver reliable, safe, and efficient transport solutions. Routes : Running to various local locations across Melbourne metro and regional Victoria

Locations : Based in Laverton

Hours : minimum 8 hours per day

What you'll do :

• Running A-Double combinations
• Conduct thorough pre-trip inspections to ensure your vehicle is roadworthy and compliant.
• Ensure timely and efficient pick-up and delivery of freight, maintaining adherence to schedules.
• Accurately complete electronic reporting systems and other required documentation.
• Comply with all company / site policies and state and national transport regulations, including Fatigue Management and Chain of Responsibility laws.
• Adhere to all load restraint guidelines to ensure freight is securely transported.

What You Will Bring :

• A valid HC License with 2 years Australian driving experience.
• Experience with tautliners, flatbeds, retractable or container trailers.
• Sound knowledge of the VIC metro & regional area
• Provide a full 5-year demerit point history report.
• Excellent communication, time management skills and a strong commitment to safety and teamwork.
• A comprehensive understanding of road, fatigue, and load restraint laws.
• BFM Certification – or willingness to obtain.
• Pride in the presentation and maintenance of trucks and equipment.
• Part of the pre-employment process, you’ll be required to successfully complete the Visy Practical Driver Assessment.
